Information we process
Administrators and ticket users can use basic features without signing in.
When you sign in or link an account, we process the information needed to identify the account and verify the sign-in, along with sign-in records.
Whether or not you sign in, we process information needed to issue tickets and operate queues. This includes information that identifies tickets, queues and devices, as well as usage records.
We use connection and request logs, including IP addresses, to prevent abuse and investigate faults. Uploaded images appear on service screens and may be public.
To respond to inquiries, we use the name or venue name, email address and message you provide. We also use related information and handling records needed to process the inquiry. Getting an ordinary ticket does not require sign-in or a phone number. Do not include passwords, PINs or unnecessary sensitive information in inquiries or images.
External services
We use external services such as AWS, Google, OpenAI and Telegram to provide the service and handle inquiries. Information needed for these purposes may be sent to those services.
Retention and deletion
Information is managed according to its purpose. Inquiry records stored by mewQ are automatically deleted in daily cleanup once 30 days have passed since receipt, regardless of handling status. Deletion may take until the next daily run.
Backup copies expire under the backup lifecycle, currently 7 days, rather than being erased immediately. Records held by external services follow each service’s retention policies and settings.
Cookies and advertising choices
Cookies and similar technologies support sign-in and ticket use. Google advertising technology may use cookies, device and connection information to deliver and measure ads. Advertising choices can be checked in Google privacy settings and messages when available. Available options depend on the applicable region and configuration.
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to measure screen categories, feature clicks and usage by country. Analytics cookies and device and browser information may be sent to and processed by Google. Declining does not affect basic service; you can reopen Analytics settings to withdraw consent.
Your rights and changes
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or withdrawal of consent. We may verify your identity as needed to handle a request. The display language does not determine applicable law. Changes to this policy and their effective date will be announced in the service.
India: DPDP Act, 2023 / Rules, 2025 - Phased commencement notice
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Rules, 2025 take effect in phases. As of 2026-10-11, the substantive provisions on notices, consent and data-principal rights are not yet in force. Under G.S.R.843(E), those provisions take effect in the 18-month phase after publication in the 2025 Gazette. Some provisions are already in force; others fall within the one-year phase. This notice does not present rights that are not yet in force as currently available. Duties under other privacy laws that currently apply remain unaffected.
Send requests under the applicable law to contact@mewq.app. We may verify your identity to the minimum extent needed to handle a request.
